Ferlyn's Writing Reflection
Writing Reflection
In writing I have been learning to write a moment in time about Cross Country, the view of Mt. Everest and the roller coaster. To write a moment in time you need to have descriptive writing and figurative language.
You can also use similes and metaphors. But most importantly, you need to write in first person and present tense.
For example:
Rather than I went to the playground, you use, I am going to the playground.
First I found this quite hard, but now it is quite easy. Apart from that, it is really fun !!!!!!!!
Here is a moment in time:
Cross Country
I am waiting nervously for the siren to go on with cold, shaking legs. I see Mr. Crowe moving his thumbs, pushing the green butten gently and the screaming siren goes on. We all zoom like firing bullets darting out. I can see the person who beat me last year beside me. Everyone shoves and pushes until they are finally infront and I see Renee speeding her way through.
